It is widely accepted that the most effective advanced training may be implemented using complex generic models of plant, where the trainee operator has to have an understanding of the principles and procedures, rather than a blind belief in the correct ESD button to press.

 

Advanced Generic Simulations allow complex and emergency scenarios to be performed for training, which may be impractical on a particular item of local plant. TSC Simulation has generated a range of advanced generic models, including fractionation, batch and continuous exothermic reactions, and ancillary services such as steam boilers and tank farm/jetties.

 

Specifically designed for Advanced Training and Assessment of Operators, these simulations can be used in a Virtual Reality Control Room environment, to enhance the 'real-life' experience and provide the "stress" environment recommended by the UK Health & Safety Executive.
