Pumped Tanks Simulation 1110

Pumped Tanks Simulation 1110 shows 2 holding tanks of different products with make-up lines.

There is a high value oil tank which is slower to transfer from and the vessel is slower to refill and a lower value kerosene tank which is quicker to transfer from and quicker to fill.

The products are transferred from the holding tanks via gravity to a ship loading tank. The flow rates into the ship loading tank are measured and totalised. The chosen product is then pumped onto a ship.

Ships arrive at regular intervals meaning the operator will need to make decisions as to which product to load based on product value and availability.
