Temperature Control - Feed Back Simulation 2301

Temperature Control – Feed Back 2301 Simulation shows a shell and tube heat exchanger with process fluid being passed through the tube side being heated by a heating fluid on the shell side.

The inlet flow of heating fluid is varied by a temperature controller monitoring the process fluid outlet temperature.

The inlet temperature of the process fluid can be varied.

Disturbances can be added to the temperature of the heating fluid to allow realistic learning on how the control method responds to the type of disturbances found on a real plant.

The P&ID settings of the controller can be altered to improve the tuning of the controller for the various conditions that can be created.

The simulation includes exercise’s based around the tuning of the pressure control system.
