Sales Executive

Full Time

Salary: £25,000 to £40,000 /year

We need a Sales Executive who can sell and promote a new and exciting 3D based product, along with TSC’s existing simulation software products.

TSC Simulation is a growing company, a world leader in providing training simulators for control room operators in the oil and gas industry. The majors such as BP and ExxonMobil use TSC across 32 countries to provide major simulators which exactly model their platforms and onshore facilities. From these are developed smaller generic simulation models which are used by training centres, colleges and universities. Now TSC is running a funded development project to link the small simulations to 3D graphics of the plant. Initial systems are already in use by BP in the UK and Houston, and they are also being installed at several UK universities.

We need an energetic individual as a Sales Executive to front this exciting new 3D graphics linked simulator system. Sales would be expected into training centres, colleges and universities initially throughout the UK, but onwards across the world. So the sales development and expansion possibilities of the role are a major opportunity

Responsibilities and Duties

As a Sales Executive, you may be ambitiously looking to improve an existing sales role, or you are wishing for a greater challenge that has even higher long-term career prospects:

  • You will be working with the existing marketing and sales team to generate new leads, making contact, arranging demos, creating proposals, and closing the sale
  • You will be expected to sell the new 3D simulations along with the generic non-3D simulator models and any associated third-party display hardware including e.g. HTC Vive, 3D projectors, and 360o projection Igloos, as a part of a turnkey package that you would define for the customer
  • Experience of selling to training centres and colleges is desirable
  • Knowledge of the process industry and its training requirements is desirable but not essential
  • You will be expected to be familiar with MS Office, along with experience of using a CRM system to track customers, leads, opportunities and proposals
  • Sales focus will initially be UK, but global sales and international travel are likely over time

Qualifications and Skills

The successful applicant is likely to have a proven successful sales record, and will have the opportunity to develop their skills as necessary throughout their time at TSC

Basic salary will be £20-£25k dependent on experience; around £40k OTE with significant over-target potential

What next?

If you think you have the necessary skills, and would like to step up to this unique opportunity, please send your CV to Micheal Bolton.
