Simulation Solutions for Renewable Energy

simulation solutions for renewable energy

Renewable Energy comprises of a diverse array of power generation including:

  • Wind Farms
  • Solar Plant
  • Ground Heat Pump Systems
  • Hydroelectric Generation and Storage Systems
  • Fuel Cells
  • Alternative Energy and Energy Storage Solutions

TSC Simulation offers a range of thermodynamically accurate simulation solutions for basic and specific system understanding and training to the growing Renewable Energy sector. With multi-purpose Dynamic Simulation and Engineering Design Studies, including Plant Design Verification, Instrumentation, Measurement, and Control.

Our Virtual Control Room is ideally suited for operational control room training for Wind Farm installations and the maintenance crew management of offshore based turbines. Our engineering simulation models readily cover the basic knowledge and specific versions of ground heat pumps and alternative energy storage solutions. Dynamic mathematical modelling of the process means that all flows, temperatures, pressures, levels, and energy generation within systems can be dynamically calculated to represent the actual system. We can also offer a bespoke copy of the DCS interface for client systems.

Our Interactive Plant with its linking of 3D VR is designed to promote the communications training and assessment between operators in a control room, remote and widely spaced Field Operators. It is ideally suited for most aspects of training and assessment in the Renewable Sector.

A natural follow-on has been the creation of Digital Twin options. Leading the way in the provision of digital technology supporting the next phase of the roll-out of renewable energy technologies, adding to the efficiency improvements and follow-on cost reductions to those already in place.

TSC Simulation, continues in the development of its range and depth of capabilities, positioning leading edge technical solutions to support and accelerate the up-take, development, and integration of the increasing range of energy vectors available as the Energy Transition gathers pace.
