Steel Industry Digitisation Project Underway
Last month, we announced the ground-breaking news that TSC Simulation was part of a wider digitisation project to help improve productivity and product performance in the UK Steel Industry.
Innovate UK will fund TSC Simulation’s two-year project worth more than £1 million. This is UK’s innovation agency, through its Manufacturing Made Smarter Challenge, which is part of the government’s larger Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund.
Our Digital team spent the last few weeks at Liberty Speciality Steels, Stocksbridge, kick-starting the project and ensuring they acquired the data needed for the first stage. This included digitally scanning the whole site using a laser scanner.
TSC are extremely excited for the opportunity the grant has offered to expand our services into the steel industry.
