Model Description

This model can be used for all levels of training in oil separation operations from introducing and learning the basics of each area of an oil facility through to advanced training of problem solving and fault finding, when parts of the plant malfunction.

The integrated water treatment and injection systems adds to the complexity of the model.

Major learning areas included in the model:

• Well heads,
• Manifold System,
• 3 Phase Separation System, including Test Separator,
• Oil Pumping,
• Oil Storage and Pipeline Transfer,
• Waste water Treatment System,
• Storage and Jetty loading including ballast removal and fuel oil.
• Full ESD System.

Utilities included:

• Sea Water Lift System,
• Water Injection System.
